General Usage
- Everything except the "Epic Items" tab is up for grabs. All ranks, excluding peon, can access these tabs and take up to 4 items or stacks of items per day. If you need more items in a day, ask an officer.
- Your deposits should be placed in the appropriate tab, or "Other" if you're not sure.
- The "Epic Items" tab is reserved for purples and other high value items. We prefer these items go to people who intend to use them in our raids. Ask an officer if there's anything in there you could use.
Selling Guild Bank Items
Items you take need to be used to advance YOUR characters. It is inappropriate to sell guild bank items on the AH to fund your personal coffers. Similarly, crafting items PURELY for sale using guild banked materials is also frowned upon. However, using guild mats to skill up professions IS appropriate.Donating Money
You may donate money to the guild bank if you wish. This money will generally be used to advance our raiding goals in some way (such as paying for respecs or creating repair bots and feasts). Do not expect to get money back out.Donating Items
Please don't deposit:- gray vendor trash
- old profession materials (herbs, ores, leathers, cloth, etc)
- old elixirs/potions/foods
- sub 350 profession recipes (exception - enchanting)
- green gear (do deposit blues, though!)
People can farm up old materials for skilling up new professions. There's no way we could keep the bank stocked with enough of that stuff to be useful. If you want to get rid of some old mats, you can always ask in guild chat if anyone's working on a profession.
Other Stuff
- Officers will occasionally auction seldom-used items and put the money in the guild bank.
- Nobody is REQUIRED to make donations, but if you find other people's donations useful, others might appreciate yours as well.
